ABOUT US

BeWa Automatisierung GmbH was founded in 2001 by Bernhard Berlandi and Edgar Wagner. The combination of the first letters in their surnames created the company name of BeWa. At the beginning of the company's founding process, mechanical engineering was limited to smaller assembly systems, plants, jigs and fixtures. As customised products gradually increased in complexity, then the team was also expanded.

The company was able to reposition its activities with the addition of the partners Jan Bender-Praß and Christian Gust in 2009, The company building was expanded in order to accommodate the constantly increasing order volume and the assembly halls were modernised.

In 2015, the company passed into the next generation. Christopher Wagner was appointed as the second managing director and fourth partner of the company. In the same year, the BeWa Control GmbH subsidiary was founded. From this point on, BeWa Control GmbH assumed the in-house control system design and switch cabinet construction work. In 2017, the company management board once again demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and acquired a neighbouring property for the long-term planned expansion, thereby almost tripling the total factory space.

With a young and motivated team, BeWa Automatisierung GmbH is now looking optimistically towards the future.

Project management and design

Our motivated and experienced project managers are always available to assist you as competent contact people for the entire course of the project. They will coordinate the additional, ongoing course of the project and ensure that your system is implemented on schedule as well as in accordance with the specifications. In conjunction with our design engineers, our 3D design software provides you with an initial insight into your future plant or system, also right at the start of the design process.

In the case of conferences and meetings which you cannot attend in person, modern video conferencing and screen conferencing is available via Skype or Team Viewer.

Risk assessment and documentation

Parallel to the design process, our specially trained personnel will create the safety concept. In doing so, we always refer to the latest standards and guidelines. Continuous training measures will ensure legally compliant implementation.

In the area of documentation and qualification of your system, we attach great importance to high-quality documents, forms and templates.

Production

The individual parts of the plants or systems are created in our in-house production by means of high-precision CNC-controlled 3-axis and 5-axis processing machines. Due to state-of-the-art CAD-CAM software and optimised tool selection, we can therefore produce even the most complex component geometries in no time at all.

In order to be able to react as flexibly as possible to fluctuations in orders, we always work closely with reliable external manufacturing partners who also share our quality standards.

All components are subjected to strict quality control in our in-house measuring room in accordance with drawing specifications. A measurement report can be prepared for this purpose on request.

Your new system will be built on our assembly area of around 500 m². Our trained and experienced fitters assemble all the required components with the highest precision according to design specifications. We always attach great importance to quality, order and cleanliness!

The fitters, process specialists and programmers are in close dialogue with project management and the customer during the machine run-in phase. Process capability analysis and measuring system analyses are available for acceptance and functional testing and inspection, also depending on the requirements which have been specified for the project.

Control technology

Our subsidiary, BeWa Control GmbH, will assume the control system construction for our systems and plants. A specially developed modular system, with integrated visual recognition value, makes the operation of our systems and plants intuitive. Efficiency-increasing factory management systems can also be implemented at this stage without any problems.

We will of course remain at your disposal after the system or plant has been commissioned in your factory. We will not only assume the maintenance work and repair work but also the routine service orders and, when requested, we will take over all necessary measures in order to ensure the most convenient and trouble-free operation of the corresponding system or plant.

The built-in remote maintenance modules enable us to execute immediate remote diagnostic tasks and maintenance if necessary. This can therefore minimise any possible downtimes.
